FERMENTATION FESTIVAL – KSQ Weekly Farmers Market

Celebrate the ancient art of food preservation at KSQ Farmers Market’s 2019 Fermentation Festival this Friday, November 1st / 3–7pm.
Explore expanded learning & tasting opportunities with local producers of fermented foods & beverages—yogurts, vinegars, sourdough breads, sauerkrauts & fermented vegetables, distilled spirits, chocolate, coffee, hard cider & more!
Participate in the CULTURE + RECIPE SWAP! Do you ferment at home & have vigorous starter cultures to share with the community? Bring them labeled in clean jars or ziplocs to the Fermentation Table hosted by the Kennett Square Food Co-op. INFORMATION is also part of the swap—curiousity, questions & recipes are welcome!
PLUS: A special fermentation-themed “Farmers Market Forage” (a scavenger hunt for the kids!)
VENDORS include: 37 Chocolates, Big Hill Ciderworks, Brandywine Valley Bread, Cucina Verde, Fiddle Creek Dairy, Gap View Homestead, Harvest Market Natural Foods, Little Goat Coffee Roasting, Manatawny Still Works, and @Keepwell Vinegar.
