If you either live and/or work in the Borough of Kennett Square or Kennett Township the consultants (Todd Poole and Mark Keener) working on the Historic Kennett Square Economic Development and Implementation Plan would like to hear from you. They want your thoughts about the strengths and weaknesses of Kennett as well as threats and opportunities, a tool/study known as SWOT analysis. They would like this input prior to a community meeting on Thursday, April 7th at 7pm in the American Legion Building.
This community meeting will be the second of three public meetings the consultants are hosting throughout the process of creating a strategy and implementation plan for economic development in the study region. At the first public meeting the consultants Todd and Mark introduced the overall project concept, their team and their work plan going forward. They also presented some initial findings related to market, real estate and demographic analysis. If you missed the first public meeting click here to see a pdf version of their presentation (please note this file is large and can take time to download).
Click here to anonymously give your input by completing the survey the consultants have created. Again, the survey is meant for those who either live and/or work in the Borough of Kennett Square or Kennett Township only. Thank you for your input.
Thank you to the funders of the plan: Chester County Planning Commission, the Borough of Kennett Square, Kennett Township, Genesis HealthCare & Longwood Gardens
