Sponsor the Holiday Lights

We love celebrating the holidays in Kennett Square, and we’re deLIGHTed to announce an exciting new program that will add to the beauty and festive spirit in Kennett Square over the holidays and through the winter months!

In partnership with the Borough of Kennett Square, Historic Kennett Square has been developing a new holiday lighting plan. We hope that this becomes a new holiday tradition to brighten our beautiful and historic downtown—and we hope to be able to expand the program in future years.

This year, 10 large (25’) trees along State Street will be wrapped with lights in advance of the holiday season and turned on Friday, November 22nd to coincide with the opening of A Longwood Christmas. Lighting trees is expensive. The cost to wrap these 10 trees with all-new LED lights and to deinstall them is $22,000. The good news is that the lights will remain on through March 2020, making those cold, dark winter nights feel brighter.

We’d love for you to be part of this new holiday tradition in Kennett Square by joining the following businesses and organizations who have already shown their generous support for this new initiative (sponsors in green have sponsored a full tree!):
