Third Thursdays on State Street

The popular Third Thursdays on State Street return in 2024 for a new season of outdoor dining, extended shopping hours, live music, and family-friendly activities. Third Thursdays bring the community together and support restaurants and small businesses on State Street.

State Street is closed from Broad to Center Streets from 5pm to 10pm every Third Thursday from May through October.

To ensure an outdoor table, we recommend making a reservation. The following restaurants set up tables on State Street for Third Thursdays: Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen, Lily Asian Cuisine, La Verona, Portabellos, Trattoria La Tavola, and Sweet Amelia’s.

Inside the Market at Liberty Place you’ll also find: Kaboburritos, Kennett Chicken, Mary Pat’s Provisions, State Street Pizza, Liberty Place Pub, Burger Stop, and Ji-In Korean Eatery.

Other great eateries in Kennett Square that offer outdoor seating in the evening include: Braeloch Brewing,  Sang Tong Thai, Kennett Brewing Company, Letty’s Tavern, and The Creamery.
