  Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue is a 501c3 Animal Welfare and Rescue organization, specializing in finding permanent adoptive homes for dogs, miniature horses, and donkeys. Most of our rescues come from high-kill shelters in the Appalachian Region of the US. Since our founding in 2010, we have saved over 1,500 lives.

  The Library has over 50,000 circulating and non-circulating items in its various collections. These collections consist of fiction and nonfiction books, a reference collection, children’s books, audio books, DVDs and periodicals. The Library has six computers with internet access for public use in the adult reference area. There are also three computers in the children’s library with a variety of educational and multimedia programs that children can use.

  At the Treetops Kitty Cafe, we have a small retail section selling premium brands of Verus & Annamaet for dogs & cats and Oxbow for small mammals, along with other supplies for cats such as litter and toys. We also offer a selection of prepackaged drinks and snacks for sale and visitors pay a small fee to enter the kitty cat lounge and sit and mingle with the approximately 10 adoptable cats roaming free. Besides playing with the cats, people can use the free wifi, read, draw, take pictures, or play games. We will also hold special events such as informational talks about pet care, storytimes, or craft projects, and the cat lounge can also be reserved for small groups. Treetops Kitty Café is run by the non-profit Treetops Animal Rescue and all proceeds go towards covering operating expenses and for the care of rescued animals.
